Aldersley School delivers independent careers guidance for all year 7 to 13 students in accordance with ‘The Government’s 职业生涯 Strategy’ published in July 2021. The CEIAG programme is designed to support the school’s academic curriculum to allow all student career choices to be formed out of their experience, 进步和成就, 学习和工作. All young people will benefit from a planned programme of activities to help them make curriculum choices that are right for them and to develop the personal resources and readiness that will enable them to manage their careers throughout their lives. All of our staff (be those teaching, 领导或支持), maintain high aspirations for all of our young people and mentor and coach each individual to have the highest aspirations for themselves. There is a team focus on ensuring each child is aware of how the choices they make with their learning will impact their future careers, 生活方式和健康. In addition to providing a focus on SMSC, Contextual 维护, and Fundamental British Values our form time programme across the school also provides a specific focus on CEIAG. In addition to this all students undertake one careers scheme of work in PSHE every year.

Mr Ahmed is the City Manager for CityFibre in Wolverhampton. He is passionate about the digital infrastructure development and its implication to wider society and the digitally excluded in our community.
He works with key stakeholders in the city to enable activities and align CityFibre’s Business objectives regionally & 在本地.
He possesses Strategic Development & Engagement skills with strong programme management expertise to deliver tactical commitment in Telecom & digital worlds, supported by education and learning initiatives in a multi-stakeholder environment.
Proactively dealing with public, 当地社区, 政府机构, 企业, planning authorities and wider groups and ensuring relationship is managed effectively.
Bashir has won many accolades and awards for improving quality of life of 当地社区 including The Queen’s Birthday Honours list (MBE) for my work in the West Midlands.
